I just learned that this last summer there's a law that was put in place in Wisconsin where you need a manmade or placed backdrop for home, formal and informal ranges. I can't seem to find the statute on this however... but I guess 2 people in Sheboygan got tickets for it last weekend and one guy from Sheboygan Falls got a warning for it.
If I'm understanding this right, that law now prohibits shooting your gun anywhere that isn't a range. That sounds like a huge freedom grab to me. I never heard of this law does anyone else know of it?
I can imagine why it was put in place, people's homes getting shot up and such from stray rounds... but man, to take away the freedom to plunk cans out at the family farm... that's a major SUCK!
