In an effort to encourage written communication and coligraphy, the United States Patriot Community will be doing a monthly Penpal program for members and their families.

These correspondences will be sent with the monthly off-grid communication drop off to local patriot outposts.

You must include your name and community outpost along with the date in the upper lefthand corner of the letter envelope.

Please include the name of the person you are sending the letter to in the center of the envelope long with their outpost drop-off location.

If this is your first letter and you do not yet have a pen pal, you can write "Seeking Penpal" in the address. You can request a penpal from a specific outpost or write "random outpost". Letters written with in this fashion should be passed on between curriers until a unit claims the envelope or package.

Please visit the vetted members forums for the outpost map directory.

Here are some helpful videos to get started.

Coligraphy Achievement - Submit a finished work of coligraphy (PM @Spiritus Ignis ) preferably in writing of over 250 words.

My wife, son, and myself all wrote penpals for our next regional meeting. We added the following to the envelope.

Upper left corner: your codename

Upper right corner: your outpost

Middle: intended person or new penpal

Lower left corner (if new): intended audience. Example, I'd like to communicate with other male fathers about things so I'd put "male father" as intended audience. My wife put female adult, son put male teen.

Just some ideas to consider.
