Palantir just put up numbers that will make your head explode. Considering they have software that can actually do that, you should probably pay attention.

The company reported 85% year-over-year revenue growth in Q1 and in the U.S., business is up over 100%. That’s not normal software growth. That’s something else entirely.

And where is that growth coming from? Your tax dollars mostly. Palantir has many government contracts that are never bid out to competitors, like this one:

“Palantir USG Inc., Palo Alto, California, was awarded a $480,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the Maven Smart System prototype. One bid was solicited via the internet with one received.”

Meaning they only wanted Palantir to do this. No other contractor was offered the job.

Because of this monopoly, Palantir raised its outlook for the coming year to $7.6 billion in revenue.

What we are watching is not just one company with massive earnings. We are watching the buildout of an entirely new layer of infrastructure that is centered on AI, surveillance, and decision-making at scale. And it’s being adopted fastest by governments.
