To maintain a healthy, independent patriot society, we'll need to have a focus on clothing and textile. There is a major lack of independence in this field in most communities.
Achievements will be given for mending, spinning, looming/weaving, crocheting, skinning, furrier, cobbler, and more. This is a broad area of study that has a lot of specific focuses.
To be able to survive in colder weather, our ancestors survived because of their abilities to make fur clothing. If you live in the snow belt, and the furnace runs out of fuel, your survival may depend on having warn clothing, fur jackets, gloves, and boots. We survived as a society without overconsumption of fuel before, we can and should do it again.
