What kinds of things are people looking for?

He so as Ryan knows i used to sell medieval stuff and replicas. Some of my suppliers also carry/ make military surplus/ historical military replicas. IE combat boots, pouches fatigues etc etc. I don't know what kind of prices i can get yet. I know i can get old school jungle boots for example.
 
Modern day combat gear is a bonus. Having a store to outfit fully would be great. Guess availability and costs would be the main factors. Our group isn't big either so not enough support here yet.
 
So i have a soucre for Nam style black jungle boots. I might be able to keep the price down to like $60 new
 
I agree, but a lot of people don't have a need or the money for a $200 pair of 511 or cryes. I like Altama's but even those are like $120 and are a very light minimalist boot. But a solid proven design is ok if i can get them at cost. Not everyone is gonna need high speed stuff, and a good boot is better than sneekers or dress shoes. I'm gonna get 1 pair and see what the quality is first. Then look very much like old school jump boots, the old black boots with nylon sides. So circa 1975-1985 maybe combat boots.

Indeed. My tan boots recommended here are already coming apart at the seams, but I use them a lot and they were $100. The reebocks are holding up well but those are summer long haul rn dry boots, very comfortable. I saw some of those jungle boots at the army surplus store and tried them on. Not comfortable at all, cool as hell look, but quality was crap and they were brand new.
