Of all the systems that are needed, the electrical grid is among the most valuable. However, it's also one of the most vulnerable.

Things like Faraday cages need to be used protect our communication equipment and critical antenna components. It should be about most priority.

One properly detonated EMP blast over the United States in the dead of winter, could kill millions of people over a very short amount of time without ever killing a single person directly. None of our cars would work, we would have no heat in most cases, or bathroom use... the lost goes on and on.
