Along with managing our honeybees, we also run a beef cow/calf operation with the main goal to produce cattle that will be sold off to customers for premium beef meat. We currently have a herd size of 25 cattle with the main breeds being a mix of Angus and Simmental and some Maintainer. Majority of the year our herd is out on pasture and supplemented in the off seasons with hay.

We currently have six steers available for the 2021 year. Our meat is sold by 1/4, 1/2, or whole steer.

That's a wrap for 2021 honey season! We finished up extracting a couple weeks ago and this was the last honey to be drummed up. Where the summer season went remains a mystery as it seems like we were just taking off winter wraps! So far, the fall season has been busy with feeding sugar syrup and getting these girls ready for another winter.
