First traditional home garden in 2022. Here's that journey. Knowing that we're likely going to see food shortages in 2023 when the markets collapse, it was important to learn multiple gardening techniques to grow food anywhere.

Not sure I really taught anything, but I'm more than willing to help where I can, and more open to learn myself!

Do you use anything to keep weeds down? Im planting over 10k seeds this year and I dont think ill have the time or patience to pick all of it.

On an 8 acre organic farm we planted into biodegradable plastic, save money and use weed barrier cloth.
Look up planting together with compatible plants. The grow thick and no to many weeds get through once they start growing.

Getting the mulch that's not treated can sometimes be a challenge. Getting free mulch from the dump usually comes with seeds or stuff you don't want in your garden.
