It is seen as inventory for some of the businesses that are trading. Like there's a whole Statewide chain of plumbers who take this and instead of calling it money they call it trade and put the goldbacks as inventory (for example).Hmmm. If a barter-only market were to start accepting goldbacks in trade for merchandise, would that be considered trade or sale? It could certainly alleviate a notable problem that we have encountered which is the difficulty bartering item for item. But if it is considered a sale then the government would be all about trying to come in and take what they can get away with in the name of taxes.

Ryan, what are your thoughts on the durability of the Goldbacks now that you have them? Obviously they will need to be treated with care when used for transactions but do they seem like they will hold up to being taken out and placed back in a wallet, changing hands, etc...? Thoughts?
