I picked up a few pieces of gear and went out for a 12 hour training event that involved day and night operations.

First is the shellback rampage 2.0. First impression was the quality. The carrier is extremely modular with a plow cost to the end user. It was very comfortable, lightweight and breathable. It held up to heavy abuse and preformed very well. Shellback never fails to impress me. On my rig was the blue force gear ten speed triple mag shingle on a detachable placard, krydex abdominal pouch, and a idogear mini map pack. I was able to run all my gear with minimal mission specific pouches. I had free range of movement, comms fit right into the cumberbund pouches and there was almost zero bulk.

Map pack held spare clothes, notepad, pens, sharpies, spare gloves, mags. Abdominal pouch held trauma dressing, Chem lights, tape. Cumberbund carried 5 mags and comms and placard had 3 mags. Very slim line front without bulk in the way of going prone.

This kit works very well in vehicles and moving around cramped areas. Next was the truspec 24/7 duty pant which was recommended by a group member. The fit was great, all the different pockets served great for carry alot of gear and being organized.

Knees had inserts that fit my 5.11 slip in knee pads very well. I believe these pants will hold up to abuse for years to come. In the coming days i plan to put up a gear breakdown video of what i use and how I run my equipment to hopefully give new shooters an idea.
